Honeypot Plugin Spam Protection
A simple solution to spam bots on your website.
This plugin adds an additional invisible field to your Contact Form 7 form. Humans can’t see it, and won’t ever fill it out. If a bot registers the field and fills it out, it will flag the submission as spam.
Honeypot is plug and play, so setup takes only a minute. When editing your contact form, there should be a “Honeypot” short code button at the top of the form. This will generate a new honeypot instance for your contact form.
